Dr. Steele

Dr. Steele, a native Floridian, received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida. He knew at an early age that medicine was his calling and was accepted into the highly selective Junior Honors Medical Program, allowing him to complete both degrees in seven years. After completing his medical education in 1998, Dr. Steele completed an internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Louisiana Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

While training at LSU, one of Dr. Steele’s mentors was a plastic surgeon who encouraged him to pursue further training in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. After completing his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2006, Dr. Steele was invited to join the faculty to help teach young plastic surgeons in training. During Dr. Steele’s tenure at the University of Florida, he was heavily involved with teaching undergraduate and medical students, as well as general surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, and oral surgery residents. He received numerous honors and teaching awards for his tireless dedication and commitment to education.

Dr. Steele has published extensively and has presented his work at national and international meetings. He is one of a few plastic surgeons in the DFW Metroplex double board certified in both Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

In addition to his time spent teaching, Dr. Steele has also traveled to Honduras on several occasions to participate in medical missions focused on treating children with cleft lips/palates.

In 2011, after five and half years of academic medical practice, Dr. Steele was recruited to Fort Worth to join another practice. After practicing in Fort Worth for 5 years, Dr. Steele left the area for a brief two years and has now returned to open his solo private plastic surgery practice. He brings his expertise in aesthetic surgery of the body, breast, and face, as well as his extensive experience in reconstructive surgery of the face, breasts, and extremities back to the Fort Worth community.

Dr. Steele enjoys cooking, traveling, and many outdoor activities with his family: wife, Keri; and his 3 children, Tyler, Bella, and Sam. The Steele family is very active in the community and are so happy to be back home in Fort Worth.
